1. traditional home magazine shoot

    i recently shot a feature for traditional home magazine and their new online magazine, tradhome.  this issue featured the top ten trad designers of today.  naomi stein, designer & blogger extraordinaire not only nominated the featured designer, mona ross berman, but wrote the piece beautifully!  mona ross berman was picked as one of the top 10 designers of today (what an honor!) and i had the opportunity to not only photograph her but one of her most beautiful projects to date.  see a few peeks from the story below:

    thrilled that the owners brian sirhal & tim spinner of cantina feliz in fort washington opened up their new digs in fairmount.  i was elated to come in and photograph their — always innovative, always amazing — mexican cuisine.

  17. a little bit ago, i visited birra, the new brick oven pizza & craft beer bar on east passyunk. the food is inventive, fun & worth checking out…immediately!

     pizza alla carbonara: white, pancetta, peas, pecorino, chili flake, & fried egg

  23. today was the day it arrived at my doorstep.  i couldn’t contain my excitement to see my collaboration w/ the wonderful alexis siemons (of teaspoon & petals) on the printed pages of anthology magazine’s 4th issue: the great outdoors. to preview the newest issue, click here.

    alexis, a talented writer & tea enthusiast came up with the idea to create a recipe for floral tea shaved ice to celebrate her love for both the warm summer months & thirst-quenching floral tea.  when she told me her brilliant idea, i knew i just had to capture it.

    these tearsheets below creatively display our story on the beautifully-printed pages of anthology magazine. what a treat!
